We desire to serve God’s church in our generation by restoring and freely distributing God-honoring, Christ-centered, and Holy Spirit-empowered preaching from a past generation. We aim to do this through this site to ensure these free audio sermons will always be just that – free and available for any to hear and benefit from!
The audio on this site is exclusively taken from old reel-to-reel recordings made decades ago as well as a small library of vintage cassette tapes. Some messages of a few better known preachers are already in circulation, but we have found that they are generally not of the quality we are able to get from the original reels. Many of these free audio sermons are new to the public domain in this current digital format.
The reel-to-reel audio has been primarily (and graciously) provided from Bob Jenning’s library at Hwy M Chapel in Sedalia, MO as well as from Charles Leiter and Dick Och’s collection at Lake Road Chapel in Kirksville, MO. We also recently received a small tape library from Mrs. Brashears of Warsaw, IL that has proven to contain some rare sermons not found elsewhere.
It was said by Hudson Taylor, missionary pioneer to China, that “God’s work, done in God’s way, will never lack for supplies.” It is to the Lord’s help we look to in this work, for He alone is faithful. God has already provided the means to build, host and maintain this site, as well as the advanced audio software needed to restore these often scratchy, hissy and faint audio messages into something the average person can profitably listen to. This work to provide free audio sermons from this growing vintage library is a labor of love and all involved are volunteers working on their own time to help.
